Kennedy Tailing Wheels - Jackson

Our family history includes coming to California during the gold rush and mining in the Jackson to Pine Grove to Pioneer area. So the mining history is of interest to me. I have visited the Kennedy Tailing Wheels a number of times over the years. These photos are mostly from April 2011 before they enclosed the better preserved wheel and November 2019 after they paved an upper parking area and enclosed the upper wheel. Photos are in date order.
