Harvester Peach (Prunus persica sp.)
Medium to large.  Bright red skin evenly blushed over yellow.  Fine texture, acidic, good quality, yellow flesh.  Uniform ripening.  Resistant to bacterial leaf spot.  Requires 750 hours of chill below 45º F.  Ripens: Late June.   Cold hardy to U.S.D.A.  Zone 7.
Fruiting Japanese Apricots (Ume) - Double Pink (Prunus ume sp.)
Small fruit 3/4" to 1" in diameter.  Often used for pickling and medicinal purposes.  Pink, double flowers have a spicy fragrance and bloom from late January to early February.  Ripens in Mid May.
Astringent - eat fresh only when very soft.  Excellent for cooking and baking when firm to soft.  Showy red-orange fall color.  Self Fertile.  Ripens: November. Mature height is 20-30 feet with a spread of 18-25 feet.  Requires less then 200 hours chilling below 45º F. Cold hardy to U.S.D.A.  Zone 7.
Royal Ann Cherry (Napoleon Cherry) - Prunus avium sp.
Large cherry with creamy skin with red cheeks.  Cream flesh, sweet tart flavor.  A favorite for eating, canning and preserves.  Needs pollinizer such as Black Tartarian or Van but will not pollinate with Bing.
Ripens: early to Mid Season.  Required around 900 hours chilling.
Moorpark Apricot - Prunus armeniaca 'Moorpark'
One of my favorites for fresh eating, preserves, jams and pies.  Large fruit. Orange skin.  Firm, highly colored flesh, rich luscious flavor.  Ripens late June to early July in Central California.  Requires about 600-700 hours chilling.
Stella Cherry - Prunus avium sp.
Large fruit.  Dark red turning nearly black skin when fully ripe.  Firm, sweet, dark red flesh with good flavor and texture.  Fruit very similar to Lambert.  Resistant to cracking.  Tree bears at a young age.  Self-fertile.  Good pollinizer for all sweet cherries.  Ripens: Mid-season.  Requires 700-800 hours chilling.
Hachiya Persimmon - Diospyros kaki
Very large, oblong with a rather short point.  Skin bright orange-red covered with dark blotches.  Largest and best cooking quality.  Tree vigorous, upright and shapely.  Astringent.  Ripens: November.
