Medium size, with typical bell pear shape.  Creamy yellow skin with slight red blush. Crisp,  juicy white flesh. 
Self-fertile, bears consistently.  Most resistant to fireblight of the pears.  Ripens: Late August into September. Requires approximately 500 hours chilling below 45º F.  Cold hardy to U.S.D.A.  Zone 6 and probably lower.  Discovered by Fanick’s Nursery, San Antonio, TX
