Stunning variegated blooms of double white flowers with red-pink highlights similar to a Carnation.  Blooms from early summer to first frost.   Growth habit is upright and compact when young. Open and spreading with age.  Mature height 8-10' with 6-8' spread.  Cold hardy to USDA Zone 6 and probably 5.
This althea came to us from Rainbow Gardens #3 in San Antonio which got it from Tocquigny's Green Gate garden Center in Sequin, TX.  Joe Tocquigny got it from Willie Gentry probably in the 1980's.
