CreatorsPalette > "How does God's love abide in anyone who
has the world's goods and sees a brother or
sister in need and yet refuses to help?
Little children let us love, not in word or speech,
but in truth and action."
                                       1 John 3:17-18

The Guatemala Mission Project Objective: To share the gift of the gospel of Jesus Christ and clean water with the communities in need.
CreatorsPalette > Clean water system installed by First Pres Church at Centennial Camp in Sololá, Guatemala - November 2007.

Standard Clean Water System:
Purpose: Bacteriological disinfection; removal of chlorine resistant organisms.
Design: Batch treatment process with an integrated bottling station.
Capacity: Based upon tank size; typically a 300 gallon tank.
Process Time: 300 gallons per hour at 5 gpm per batch.
Key Methods: Filtration, micro filtration and ozone disinfection.
Installation Cost: Hardware - $2,500
Operational Costs which includes replacement costs (excluding labor): per 100,000 gallons: one-half cent to one cent per gallon.
CreatorsPalette > The projects come with some real labor. Digging the ditch for the incoming water pipes for some of us desk jockeys was strenuous work at approximately 7,500 foot elevation.
