I guess I am fascinated by the volcanoes, especially when you see one smoking. There are 35 in Guatemala and many other active and inactive vents.

Sunset over Lake Atitlan.   San Pedro Volcano visable in silhouette.  Even on clear days, an afternoon cloud formed at the volcano tops (over 9,900 ft on San Pedro).
