Austin Pomegranate - Punica granatum
This is a great juice variety with high yield - about 1.5 times Wonderful. Sweet juice with a bare hint of tartness. A great complex taste, superior to most sweet varieties. Seed is medium in hardness, chewy. Resists cracking. Vigorous grower. Ripens in late October. Developed in Central Texas - a cross of two middle-eastern varietes.
